Ascent Healthcare Solutions is the leading medical device reprocessor in the country.
By reprocessing their used medical and surgical devices, each of our partner hospitals saves thousands of dollars annually while keeping tons of medical waste from filling our landfills.
We are FDA regulated and we are held to strict guidelines and procedures.
The Account Manager seeks out new business and generates revenue from existing accounts by promoting and building strong customer relations within their assigned territory.
All work is done inside hospitals where you will work closely with various healthcare facility departments (Operating Room, Central Supply, Nursing, Environmental services, Physicians, Surgeons, C-suite) to maintain and increase program participation.
You will be required to be on the road 80% of the time calling on new and existing customers. Use of your own personal car is required and you are reimbursed for mileage.
This position requires some physical labor when collecting, packaging and shipping 40lb containers full of soiled product to our reprocessing plants. The collections are done from multiple call points within the hospital and are placed in special Ascent containers that have to be boxed and shipped from the hospital.
REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of surgical devices is a PLUS.
Proven outside field or business to business sales experience
Previous experience selling to hospitals, surgeons, or operating room personnel is strongly desired.
Confident, self motivated and results oriented and willing and able to spend long hours on the road.
Excellent communications skills (verbal and written).
Good problem solving and decision making skills.
Teambuilding skills with the ability to train others.
Able and willing to lift and carry up to 40lbs. frequently.
Time management skills and able to prioritize tasks.
Good presentation skills (conduct training and In-services for customers).
COMPENSATION:
$65 - $75 [Combined annual base salary and commission]

EDUCATION
Minimum 2 year degree; Prefer a 4 year degree in Business, Healthcare, or closely related field.
Prefer someone who has worked in healthcare environment such as a hospital or surgical center (materials handling, surgical technician).
