Ascent Healthcare Solutions, the leading third-party reprocessor of single use medical devices and the industry's most respected medical device reprocessing company, has an immediate opportunity for an Account Service Representative to work with existing customers in the Portland, Oregon area.
All work is done inside hospitals and you will work closely with various healthcare facility departments (Operating Room, Central Supply, Nursing, Environmental services, Physicians, Surgeons, C-suite) and other end users of single use medical devices to maintain and increase program participation.
On a typical day you will call on several hospitals in your assigned territory and you will pick up, package and ship their used devices to Ascent's reprocessing facilities. All shipping is done directly from the hospital shipping dock to Ascent.
In addition to packaging and shipping the containers, you will be responsible for every aspect of the order process as follows:
1-Work with Materials Management/ Purchasing department to obtain purchase orders for customer product that has been reprocessed
2 -Assist customers with inventory management
3 - Provide in-service training and education
4 - Work with management team to secure new business within the territory.
REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this position you MUST meet the following requirements;
1-have previous outside business to business sales experience in medical devices/DME/or other tangible product.
2- Have excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
3-Be physically able to lift up to 40 pounds easily on a daily basis.
4-Self motivated, confident and able to work alone with no supervision.
5-Prior medical device experience is a PLUS
COMPENSATION:
$35,000 annual base salary paid out bi-weekly
$15,000 annual commission paid out monthly
Mileage reimbursement

Education and/or Experience:
Professional business/sales experience
College degree preferred and/or 1-3 years of equivalent experience
